While some of us riders here in Colorado were riding the MBS demo up in Winterpark, the BFC hosted the second Cream Teas and Jam at Bugs Boarding. It always looks like a great event, hopefully i’ll make it across the pond to ride it some day.
Last weekend Knockhill played host to Round 1 of Cream Teas & Jam. Started by the BFC a few years back, this event was designed to be a fun, relaxed event much like rail jams you might see here in the States. Anyhow this year riders were throwing down, 270’s every where, some 360’s off the dragon rail and all kinds of other madness. It looks so good it hurts.
Sorry Rhys I had to snake this from YumYumBFC.com, the footage was just too good not to be shared. Keep an eye out for photos & video from round two which goes down on July 17th.
The World Championships of Mountainboarding is happening this weekend at the Bugs Boarding mountainboarding centre in Gloucester, England. The jumps are large, weather looks good, and some of the world’s best will be there to show off their talent in front of the savvy British crowd. Despite losing the headlining sponsor MBS Europe has kept the event going by headlining the event themselves.
Those of us that are not able to go can receive updates from the BFC & MBS Europe’s own Rhys Crilley. Rhys will be tweeting updates from the event in between checking his facebook. Check out http://twitter.com/rhyscrilley for updates on everything from what everyone is wearing to what Rhys’ favorite grab is. Who knows maybe next year a live webcam or video through the power of skype?
